About this event

The Summit welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in activities around healing and wellness. The Cultural Healing Summit is an all-day virtual experience event, focused on well-being teachings, intergenerational resilience, and culturally specific healing practices.

In many cultures, Autumn is the symbol of change, balance, and preservation, reminding us that our bodies, minds, and surroundings are always evolving. Offering us the chance to harmonize with nature, embrace the present and reconnect within ourselves.

Breakout sessions will be led by community healers promoting culturally specific teaching and practices including: Ancestor honoring is universal in the autumn, Exploring the process of letting go, releasing, and associated experiences, Power of cultural connectedness through dance and much more.

The Mental Health and Wellness Action Team wants to increase social connectedness, expand the continuum of cultural healing-centered engagement and mental well-being. Please visit Ramsey County's Mental Health and Well-being website for more information. https://www.ramseycounty.us/residents/health-medical/clinics-services/mental-behavorial-health/mental-health-and-well-being
